Soya Sauce Chicken

One whole chicken
Water or stock        3 cups
Light soya sauce    1 cup   
Dark soya sauce     ½ cup
Rose wine
Rock sugar               50g


1. Heat a little oil and ginger in a wok. Slightly coat the chicken in the oil.
2. Add the soya sauce preparation and bring to a boil. Immerse the chicken in the sauce.
3. Reduce the heat to a simmer. Keep basting the chicken for 45 minutes, turning each 15 minutes.
4. Serve with rice.
