Under the instruction of qualified drama leaders, Faust International Youth Theatre teaches drama workshops after school and on Saturdays for 5- to 16-year-olds. Participants learn about the theater while developing greater self-confidence and an enhanced ability to work with others. Workshops culminate in the annual Faust Festival where all groups perform in a Hong Kong theater. Faust also runs classes in creative writing (ages 6-16) as well as an eight-week summer program featuring theater and writing classes. Discounts for multiple-term and sibling registration.

Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts

Both amateurs and would-be professionals are likely find the theatrical course they're looking for at the APA. The APA offers a range of academic courses in five schools: Dance, Drama, Music, Film & TV, and Techical Arts. The EXCEL (Extension and Continuing Education for Life) program includes a wide variety of short courses in everything from comedic acting to a capella singing. Hong Kong Repertory Theater

Founded in 1977, the largest professional theater of its kind in Hong Kong has a repetoire of more than 200 Chinese and Western productions that it performs in Cantonese or Putonghua, with Chinese and English surtitles. Apart from its large productions, it also tours schools, runs artist-in-residence programs at tertiary institutions and collaborates with international groups, playwrights and directors. Holds a variety of public workshops and courses, and organises summer camps and performances for students as part of its theatre-in-education and outreach initiative. Courses are in Cantonese.

Kids' Gallery

Kids' Gallery offers classes for children aged 12 months-16 years. Classes are held in the performing arts (drama, dance and singing), visual arts (arts and crafts, painting and sketching), communication arts and digital arts and typically last for an eight-week term, with intensive courses during school holidays. Special events include the Kids' Gallery Festival Week and the annual talent show, Star Factor. Annual visual arts exhibitions are held at various public venues. Also offers Trinity Guildhall, RAD (Royal Academy of Dance), ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), LCMM (London College of Music & Media) examinations.
